Heading out on a cruise right before Easter or even on the cruise on Easter? Put together a cruise perfect Easter basket so you're not wasting room in your suitcase on unused items. My upcoming cruise is leaving on Easter, so my family will be waking up in a hotel Easter morning. I plan on using two of the collapsible buckets below so that they can easily fit in my suitcase AND can be used while on the beach.
I also plan on gifting the kids a pair of waterproof sandals and bathing suits. They would have been getting new ones for the cruise anyway, so why not just save it as a gift? A few little cruise themed toys to keep the kids entertained while waiting for our room to get ready or if the line is long at the port.
Cruising ducks.... it's a whole thing. A whole thing I have been sucked into. These will act as a double gift. I have tags that I am going to attach to these ducks so that after the kids enjoy playing with them, we are going to hide them around the cruise ship. (If you haven't heard about cruising ducks, check it out on Facebook or search #crusingducks on Instagram).
I plan on keeping it super simple this Easter but also hopefully making it special for the kids so they don't feel like they missed anything. I will not be adding chocolates of any sort because my bags will be flying with everything inside and I am not risking chocolate melting in the Miami heat onto my clothes for the week.
I hope this helped give a little bit of inspiration on how to fill your cruise themed basket! Leave a comment if you've gifted a cruise Easter basket and what you included!
